MANGO-BANANA JAM

This is my entry for the Coffee's "MBP July",for the theme"Preserves". I got inspired by viji's(Vcuisine)jam preparations. They are very natural and tasty. So thought of preparing it for my 2 year old son(who loves jam) and for the MBP.

I have made a slight change by replacing real mango fruit by mango puree when compared to the Original Recipe.

Ingredients :
Banana - 2
Mangoes - 2 / Mango Puree - 2 Small Cup
Sugar - 1 1/2 Cups (As per your taste)
Lemon Juice of 1 Lime

Method :
1) Peel the mangoes and cut into small cubes. Here,I have used mango puree.
2) Squeeze the lemon and extract the juice.Cut the banana into small cubes (sprinkle lemon juice to avoid browning).
3) Add everything in a MW bowl and cook on high for 10 minutes. Then take it out and mash it lightly.
4) Again MW high for another 10 minutes. By this time you would have reached the consistency. If not, cook more a little. Store this in air tight container.
